Down on his luck writer Sam McCarthy opens a can of worms when he reads his chronically ill daughter, Harper, a Celtic (medieval) Myth about a fairy named Cliona; soon he is forging Fairy pen-pal letters to his daughter under the name "Caitlin", hardly able to keep up with Harper's zest for the fairy life. When Sam bumps into a woman who meets Caitlin's" description, he pays her to come meet Harper. Harper and Caitlin have an immediate connection, and Sam is intrigued by this beautiful woman. Caitlin stays in Harper's life as a babysitter, and soon after exhibits some very fairy-like qualities. The magical young woman brings Sam closer to his daughter than he ever thought possible. Will Caitlin finally be able to save Harper's life? A sweet and lovely story about a relationship between father and daughter and love that conquers all, with a twist.
HARPER's FAIRY is a highly commercial, Disney style, family movie for the international marketplace
